Paltalk is an instant messaging program like Microsoft Messenger, ICQ and AIM. Paltalk Messenger enables people from all over the world to chat via the internet. The coolest thing about this program and what makes it different to other available messaging utilities is its video & voice capabilities

Paltalk gives you the ability to chat and cam with upto ten different users at the same time an ability not offered by other services Paltalk uses a service entitled SuperIM which is their trademark name for their chat program. Similar to that of AOL messenging or Yahoo Chat, members can see who is logged onto Paltalk, double clicking on the nicname to chat. The list of Pals, known as Buddies in similar software, is accessable for the member on the main panel. If the subscriber has a webcam she/he can easily make it available in chatrooms so chat participants can view who they are chatting with.
In Paltalk you can also message with users of Yahoo, ICQ and AIM through links on the main interface.
A feature that makes Paltalk unique from its rivals is the addition of audio. Members can enable audio to their chat session and make their chat chatting rather than texting.. Whilst in SuperIm mode, if a member clicks the add audio button, he/she can communicate to other members as if talking on the telephone.

Paltalk currently has over 4000 available chatrooms for its subscribers, catergories include teen chat, singles chat, gay, dating, movies, technology and gaming. Subsribers can browse the room list for a subjectof interest, then clicking the room to enter Chat in the chatrooms is enabled by clicking the Push to Talk button or by typing text

The subscriber responsible for making the room has administrative rights, this means they can close, and ban users from the chatroomfor periods of time, ban subscribers indefinetly, and control the microphone. The owner of the room can give admin status to other subscibers to help share the work.
